ENDA: Looks like an INCLUSIVE ENDA is in our near future! We need to get behind our viral campaign for ENDA and make sure we get HEARD!

WHITE HOUSE WATCH: We're all more than happy to bitch and moan about President Obama's LGBT screw-ups, but are we just getting ridiculous now when we attack his Pride Proclamation? Maybe the President's problem isn't lack of care, but an outdated playbook that was not prepared for the avalanche of legislative change and public opinion shifts. Maybe its time he evolve too.

STATE2STATE: In CALIFORNIA, inequality rings true--a lesbian who collapsed at the MeetInTheMiddle4Equality March in Fresno could not be accompanied by her parter in the hospital. Amen, sister. Californians are evenly split on a 2010 Prop 8 repeal. In the time since the MeetInTheMiddle march, Fresno organizers are hesitant to release the data, which angers many in the LGBT community. Many non-organizational-affiliated voices were especially angry about the top-secret meeting after MeetInTheMiddle. However, on the other side of the Equality coin, Snapple, Sonic and Chipotle have pulled ads from a California radio station whose shock jocks encouraged violence against transgender youth. A California pastor has refused to marry anyone in the wake of the Prop 8 decision. Also, will the Gubernatorial candidates make Prop 8 an issue? NEW YORK Unions endorse Marriage Equality. In ARIZONA, current DP benefits for State Workers could be in danger. HRC has put together a wonderful slideshow for our NEW HAMPSHIRE Victory! UTAH's gay community to honor Gov. John Huntsman.

OFF THE MAP: Stephen Colbert offers a solution to our Separate But Equal Problem. The Sundance Channel shows their Pride. One Missouri couple gets married in Iowa and gets their local Newspaper to change its policies. Where the tops and bottoms are, state-by-state. Are straight girls 'collecting' gay men? If they are, is that so bad? Sesame Street's definition of Marriage sounds very right.

FINALLY: Though HRC isn't getting the best name lately, they aren't the only ones who make mistakes. When it comes to 'doh' moments, everyone makes their mistakes--including the same leaders that shout and moan about what HRC screws up.

Big news out of Michigan, surely the Professors (who tend to be very progressive) can't wait to find out - MLive.com : "Calvin College professors will find out Monday whether the college’s governing board will withdraw a controversial memo ordering them to follow Christian Reformed Church teachings against homosexuality and same-sex marriage. President Gaylen Byker will update faculty on board discussions that took place over the weekend by the Board of Trustees, including a decision on the memo, spokesman Phil de Haan said Saturday."

HEY #p2!--CALLING ALL PROGRESSIVE ALLIES!

-HEY #p2! (Progressives). We can't do this alone. Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans have been fighting for over half a Century to have basic Civil Rights. We have so much to do, and we are such a small group. Without an army of Progressive allies, we can't win. Our rights as American citizens are constantly being compromised, despite life-time service to our nation as good, contributing citizens. We can't wait any longer. We need our Progressive allies to step up and go to bat for us TODAY. We must demand Progressives have got to make LGBT rights a top priority in 2010, or we will keep being put on the back-burner. There will ALWAYS be something more important than LGBT equality affecting America--issues like Health Care Reform and the Economy effect LGBT people too! However, when we are discriminated against under the law every single day, we can't give our all to fixing these problems. We are long overdue to be counted as equal citize...
