Is our president too scared to stand up for Equality right now? Honestly, why not do it in your first year? If you really do support Equality (which in my heart of hearts I truly believe the president does) then get these goals met in your first year, meet with the criticism, move the dialog past it, and move on. Pushing for a repeal of DOMA and DADT is NOT going to harm his chances for a second term. He has said time and again he believes in this--then please act on it. The administration's silence on the Marriage Domino Fall is even wierder. OK, the president doesn't exactly want to say he's HAPPY about Marriage Equality. So just make a strong statement that you believe that these are great wins for state's rights and the democratic process! Say SOMETHING! It looks SO WEIRD that history is happening and that this avalanche gets rolling faster and faster every day, and you say nothing. HOWEVER, he HAS FINALLY BROKE THE SILENCE ON DON'T ASK DON'T TELL!!!
